So here are a bunch of quick drawing I did recently on post-it notes at work. This is kind of what got me back into drawing after probably about a 6 month hiatus. Posting them on twitter is also what got me to finally start this blog.

So this day I had two goes at the task, which as the title suggests, was a shipwreck. I think this is one of those days at work where I didn’t have much to do so I spent a bit more time drawing than I normally would….

So, this is an art blog I have been planning on making for a couple of years now but I guess I’ve just been lazy or something.
When I was a child I was obsessed with frogs, I knew everything there was to know about them and I spent days at school drawing them.
Fast forward to 2016, when I started working in my current office and I had not drawn frogs for year. I work alongside many artists and several of them were doing these daily drawing challenges where someone world pick a subject and see what everyone came up with. I decided to join in. I can’t quite remember how it started but I think the task was an electric frog (or something similar) and so I put my many years of childhood frog drawings into practice. This made me remember how much I loved frogs and brought back the joy of drawing them I had from when I was young. Somehow this turned into me drawing frogs everyday for the next month (or at least weekdays).
So anyway, here I am finally starting this drawing blog. I will start by posting some of my old favourites (with a story to go with them if I can remember the tasks), then once I run out I guess I will have to start working of on new guys.
